The couple ruling the charts as the bridal hue this wedding and they both are picture perfect showcasing yet another beauty. Apart from the events, we loved how the couple
co-ordinated with each other and the beautiful venue of Sheraton Mahwah that accompanied it.
One of our favourite things about being part of Indian weddings has been to understand the culture of not only the weddings themselves, but of the families behind them. This one was no different.
Massive congratulations to the amazing Bijal & Akash. Here are some of our favourites from their wedding at Sheraton Mahwah…
VIDHI:
The joyful event of Pithi and Satak held at the bride and groom’s individual residences. In Pithi, application of a yellow paste was applied to the Bijal & Akash's face, legs, and arms, and it is believed to be excellent for the skin. The couple and the family had a memorable time playing with the colors of pithi.
GARBA:
During the Garba ceremony, the couple along with their friends and families, gather in alternating linear formation and hit two ornate sticks together to the beat of traditional Indian folk music. Also super cool to see the performances by the bridesmaids and groomsmen. And the photo shoot of the couple was a charm with their lovely smiles and laughter.
WEDDING:
Here the groom Akash enjoyed a lot dancing in his own wedding in the Baarat. The couple had abundant series of the photos before the wedding for life time memories. Akash and Bijal enjoyed utmost each and every moment of the wedding rituals from Baarat to Jaimala, to Hasta Melap, to Pheras and almost all. This couple is just awesome who lives in the moment and hence we enjoyed photographing their wedding pictures.
Reception:
With the joyful couple Bijal & Akash again the friends & family made this event more happening. The newlyweds had a lovely time dancing together and it just added dose of excitement in the event.
