The Venetian - Indian Wedding Celebration & The Hilton Woodcliff Lake - Indian Wedding Reception

When Indian Bride so perfectionist, lively, caring, energetic, chattery & fun to be around plans to marry down to earth, caring funny, laid back- go-with the flow, calm Indian Groom - you can certainly expect the Indian Wedding is going to be so Elegant, Beautiful and Unforgettable.

The beautiful multi day wedding event was planned at multiple locations as this Indian Bride wanted to have a unique feel for each event. Indian Wedding Celebration was hosted at a beautiful north jersey wedding venue - The Venetian. This place is so unique that you will fall in love with it’s architecture and details. The amazing staff at The Venetian wedding banquet makes every event an unforgettable experience. The venetian matched Krishna’s royal theme wedding vision. It was the perfect venue and space for hosting all our guests.

Krishna - who is into Healthcare Management, met Bhavik - an accountant; met each other 9 years ago. Here is the story on how they met in Bhavik’s Words:

How they Met:

“9 years ago, as I came back from an exhausting day on the baseball field, I went straight to my computer and jumped on to AIM. As I logged into my account, I started browsing through my pending messages. I noticed an unknown username pop into my chat list. I became curious and pinged that person. Little did I know, that this person would eventually become my soulmate. Fast forward to 2 years later, as our friendship grew, we started talking more and became best friends. We would talk every day and our conversations would seamlessly continue into the early mornings more often than not. Finally, one day, I asked Krishna to meet me in New York City.

This marked the beginning of our unique relationship. We have created many memories together that we will cherish forever. From visiting her in Philadelphia, to studying abroad together in London, we have been blessed with priceless experiences.

I can’t wait to continue living life with my best friend!“

The Proposal:

I am sure you all would love to hear about How Bhavik proposed to Krishna. Here is the story in Krishna’s own words:

“You know, one of those weeks where you have the least amount of expectations while at the same time hoping that nothing goes awry. Bhavik knew my week wasn’t going well and decided to plan a "trip" to the Adidas popup shop in Brooklyn. This was not on my mind and all I wanted to do on Friday was go home and relax. However, he was being persistent and even tried to bribe me by offering a dinner date afterwards. After many rounds of going back and forth, I finally gave in and agreed to hanging out with him. As Friday evening approached, I met up with him after work. We made our way to Brooklyn and strolled along the boardwalk by Dumbo Park. Little did I know, this whole time, Bhavik was trying to stall because he wanted to ensure that his friends had enough time to set up the proposal location (Jane’s Carousel) the way that he had envisioned. As we made our way down the boardwalk, I noticed there was a big carousel in a transparent building. The carousel had closed for the evening, however, Bhavik approached it and asked the worker who seemed to be cleaning up the carousel to let us in to take pictures. At this time, I was a little embarrassed because I felt there was no need for this since it has already closed. Of course, the worker was in on the entire plan and let us in, stating we only had a few seconds. As we walked in, our song- “With You,” started playing and the carousel lit up. At this moment, I had a feeling of what was coming. Bhavik held my hand and walked me over to a specific location where rose petals and candles were nicely placed along with a table consisting of our many memories in the form of pictures. After pouring his heart out, Bhavik took a knee and popped the big question. I instantly said YES! After putting the ring on my finger, Bhavik walked me over to the table to reveal yet another surprise- a trip to Punta Cana, departing in a matter of hours. As we turned around, I saw our friends heading towards us to join the celebration of a lifetime.”

Mehndi - Sangeet:

Indian Wedding festivities start with Mehndi Ceremony. Mehndi also known as Henna is a tradition where Indian Bride gets beautiful artistic designs on her Hands and on her feet. Mehndi artists spent almost 6 hours to bring Krishna’s creative imagination into reality. Check out how the most rewarded and published Indian Wedding Photographer - Chirali Thakkar, from Fine Art Production captured beautiful Mehndi poses for Bride - Krishna. During the Mehndi - Sangeet ceremony indian wedding families and guests enjoyed traditional delicious gujarati food. Both side families enjoyed Garba, Dandiya - Raas, Bollywood Dance performances.

Indian Wedding Celebration:

Planning an Indian Wedding? Listen to what Krishna says about Indian Wedding Planning -

“I also am a BIG planner and very type A personality. I love planning so the entire year leading up to the wedding was all spent on Pinterest, wedding websites, taking down notes in a wedding planner, etc. Although it was SO stressful at times, it was my happy place and I do genuinely miss that entire process.”

The Indian Wedding Mandap was their absolute favorite part of the wedding ceremony as it was not a traditional four pillar mandap but rather provided the royal appearance and vibe that the couple envisioned for the wedding ceremony. The mandap suited the venue perfectly.

Although it was a very hot summer day, having the family and friends all come together made it special. All sorts of emotions filled the day which included anticipation, anxiousness, and excitement, joyful, colorful, energetic vibes. Check out our beautiful Indian Bride getting ready portraits, Indian Bride Solo Portraits, Indian Groom Portraits, Bride & Groom Couple Portrait photography, indian bridal party pictures, Baraat Pictures, Indian Wedding rituals photography, candid wedding photographs of Krishna and Bhavik will certainly amaze you. Krishna’s Kaka and Kaki were involved during the wedding ceremony every step of the way alongside her parents. They had a big role during this wedding due to their importance in Krishna’s life of treating her like their own daughter.

Indian Wedding Reception Celebration:

The Reception Event was hosted at beautiful luxurious Hilton Woodcliff Lake. The look and feel of this venue is perfect to bring the luxury feeling especially for Indian Wedding Reception. The reception venue - Hilton Woodcliff Lake allowed them to change the vibe from that royal theme to something more intimate and different for their guests to come together and celebrate after the ceremony.

The most memorable moment of their wedding is - “Right after the wedding ceremony and we were officially married. We walked down the aisle together side by side, holding hands, while our bridal party was lined up along the catwalk throwing rose petals as a congratulatory gesture.”

Finding a perfect Indian Wedding Photographer is a very important task, as this is the only indian wedding vendor who will give you lifelong memories - says bride Krishna. Their decision about choosing a Indian Wedding Photography company - Fine Art Production was based on their experience. In their own words: “We knew Chirali and Amish were established in the photography and videography space in the wedding industry. As a result, we ensured to set up a meeting with them. As soon as we met them, we loved their charming personality and knew they would be able to perfectly execute our vision and guide us through the various phases which involved the photoshoot, pre wedding video, and storytelling leading up to our big day. We had a great experience working with Chirali and Amish especially due to their down to earth nature and knowledge. We loved the photo pose recommendations along with all the candid shots that were provided throughout all our events.”
